Plastic recycling · since 2004

A second life for plastics that would otherwise be burned.

From waste film and rigid plastics we produce regranulate of a quality that goes straight back into packaging, films and technical parts.

About us

A quiet plant outside Bohušovice that has been putting plastics back into circulation for twenty years.

Chintex s.r.o. was founded in 2004 in Hrdly, near Bohušovice nad Ohří in northern Czechia. What started as a local processor has grown into a plant that returns roughly 500 tons of regranulate to the market every month — mostly LDPE from films, with HDPE and PP.

We focus on what we can do really well: a clean, stable process and regranulate with repeatable parameters. Incoming material is sorted, washed on a two-stage Neue Herbold line and processed on an Erema INTAREMA® TVEplus® extruder.

The plant runs on a closed loop — process water is recycled, biological residue stays on-site and never enters the public sewer. Here recycling is industry, not marketing.

Technology

Erema INTAREMA® TVEplus® 1310

Installed in 2015 with 60% EU co-financing. The patented TVEplus® design places melt filtration upstream of extruder degassing — combining ultra-fine filtration, melt homogenisation and high-performance degassing in a single step.

Erema INTAREMA® TVEplus® 1310
01

Reliably processes heavily printed films and moist material.

02

Double filtration and a vacuum pump keep output quality stable independent of feedstock variability.

03

Melt is homogenised in an 11 m³ silo before filling into big bags, octabins or truck silos.

Throughput

  • LDPE — ~700–850 kg/h
  • HDPE — 650–750 kg/h
  • PP — 750–900 kg/h

Neue Herbold washing line

Two Neue Herbold washing lines process PE and PP. Fully closed loop with zero environmental discharge.

Materials

What we process and how we ship it.

Input

  • LDPE film — industrial and mixed
  • HDPE — rigid packaging
  • PP — film and rigid
  • Heavily printed and moist feedstock

Output

  • LDPE regranulate — natural / coloured
  • HDPE regranulate
  • PP regranulate
  • Custom technical regranulates

Packaging

  • Big bag (approx. 1,000 kg)
  • Octabin
  • Bulk truck silo
Process

From a bale of waste film to a big bag of regranulate.

  1. 01

    Intake & sorting

Every batch passes a visual check; contaminants are removed and material is sorted by polymer type.

  2. 02

    Washing

Two-stage Neue Herbold line removes residues, dirt and print. Water is treated and looped back into the process.

  3. 03

    Drying & granulation

Erema INTAREMA® TVEplus® 1310 — patented filtration before degassing. Ultra-fine screen, stable melt.

  4. 04

    Homogenisation

Granulate is blended in an 11 m³ silo so every big bag carries the same parameters.

  5. 05

    Dispatch

Big bag, octabin or truck silo — customer's choice.

Why Chintex

Four reasons our customers stay with us.

Repeatable quality

Same parameters across batches. Homogenisation in an 11 m³ silo and double filtration minimise variation.

Closed loop

Water cycles back into the process; biological residue never leaves the site. Zero impact on local sewer.

Documented origin

EuCertPlast, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 — every step from intake to dispatch is audited.

Packaging flexibility

Big bag, octabin or truck silo. Delivery across the EU.
